HP 255 Laptops Linbo Grafik-Problem

Hallo!
ich hänge mich mal hier dran, da ich obiges Verhalten bei unseren neuen HP 255 Laptops auch habe (ich habe mir die nicht ausgesucht). Linbo war trotzdem gestartet, man sah es nur nicht. Ok, dachte ich mir, haste ja so gelesen, aus /var/log/syslog die MAC rauskopiert, in die workstations rein (hab noch 6.2) und dann import_workstations gemacht. Und tatsächlich kam eine grafische Oberfläche, die ist jedoch „unschön“.

Weil die Frage aufkam: Es sind HP 255 G7 Notebooks
AMD Ryzen 3 3200U with Radeon Vega
8GB RAM und 256GB nvme
Die Realtek WLAN-Karte habe ich mit dkms unter 16.04 und 20.04 zum laufen bekommen. Das Mauspad, die Tastaturhaptik und das Gehäuse sind so wie der Preis. Die Geschwindigkeit ist ok, Webkonferenz prüfe ich, wenn der DDOS auf BelWü rum ist :slight_smile: LG Max

wir haben die selben Rechner.
Als Kernel Parameter haben wir wie Holger schon schrieb:
KernelOptions = quiet splash nomodeset acpi=noirq
Damit laufen diese prima.
Warum die gfxpayload auch noch ändern?
Ich frage deshalb, weil das Problem als gelöst markiert wurde.

hast du es mal ohne acpi=noirq probiert?

der gfx payload nur bei Clients, wo die Bildschirmauflösung nicht automatisch ermittelt werden kann.
Das sollte nichts mit deinem „anderen“ Problem zu tun haben, dass die Dinger garnicht hoch kommen.

Hallo Ralf,
ich habe momentan
quiet splash dhcpretry=10 nomodeset net.ifnames=0 biosdevname=0
und ohne den gfxpayload von 800x600x16 (das erscheint bei mri automatisch in der entsprechenden grub.cfg) auf 1920x1080x16 zu setzen, kommt gar keine Linbo-GUI. Linbo bootet zwar und man kommt mit linbo-ssh drauf. aber eben kein Bild.

Falls es jemand weiterhilft, dass ich andere Parameter probiere, mache ich das gerne, gerade bin ich froh, dass es eben geht. Bis ich dann wahrscheinlich eines der alten Geräte anschließe und es dann da nicht mehr geht :wink:
