Hello.
Some of us use a nginx-proxy-Server to achieve this. In this case you don’t have to change the FQDN of your server.
Search for these buzzwords („nginx proxy“) here … however all search results will be in German.

Hi,
How can I change the local domain lunuxmuster.lan to FQDN. I have the
lmn7.1 and opnsense which work great for me
as far as i know, thats not possible.
The AD is provisioned on install with linuxmuster-setup.
Thats when the domain is inserted in the AD.
You can not just change the Domain.
You might search for:
samba 4 change domain
to get an idea if and how that might work.
But why would you want to do that?
Tell us, maybe we ll know ways that makes an domainchange unessesary.
Yours
Holger
