Problem mit Windows 10 und UEFI

Liebe Kollegen,
ich habe hier Notebooks Dell Latitude 6430. Im BIOS Modus mögen diese Notebooks linbo nicht. Es kommt immer “Invalid Parition Table”. Nun sollen diese Notebooks neu aufgesetzt werden (Windows 10) und unter Linbo laufen.
Bei einem dieser Notebooks klappt das alles. Auch incl. dem Skript in der Aufgabenplaung unter Win10, dass er wieder zu Linbo zurück findet und nicht für immer nur Windows startet.

Nun war ich zufrieden und wollte ausrollen: Kein anderes Notebook startet Windows. Alle starten immer nur Linbo. Als erster Eintrag steht grub im BIOS mit \EFI\grub\grubx64.efi.

Direkt nach einem unsync Neustart gehe ich direkt ins BIOS und da steht das immer noch. Da müsste doch dann stehen: \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\bootmgfw.efi.

Ich habe es mit und ohne Labels probiert und komme einfach nicht weiter.

Was ich nicht habe: Die Parition hinter cache. Das war an dem “Mutter-Client” nicht nötig.

Was mich auch wundert: Um mal Windows zu starten (was auch problemlos geht) habe ich im BIOS Einträge hinterlegt wie z. B. Windows Boot Manager (gerne auch mit Tippfehler) und dann \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\bootmgfw.efi.

Diese Einträge verschwinden dann von selbst wieder. Löscht die Linbo?

Wenn ich jetzt in BIOS gehe, habe ich oben grub und darunter den UEFI Netzwerkboot mit IPv4 und IPV6. Mehr nicht. Wenn ich aber das linbo log ansehe, dann stehen da diese “alten” Einträge drin. Ich verstehe es nicht …

es hat wohl schon teilweise geholfen ein BIOS-Passwort zu setzen um die Bootreihenfolge konstant zu halten (Beitrag weiter unten im Verlauf)

Hallo Manuel,
das BIOS Passwort für den Admin habe ich so und so auf jedem Rechner. Den Effekt mit “immer Windows” hatte ich auch am Muster-Client. Da hat dann ein Skript in der Aufgabenplanung geholfen, was nach jedem Start wieder auf Linbo umbiegt. Was auch geht. Trotz BIOS Passwort.

In einen anderen Threat hat Holger einmal mein Problem erwähnt und dass er es mit Sync+Start behoben hat. Das hat übrigens bei mir auch nicht funktioniert. Sync+Start liefert bei mir mit Win 10 nur jede Menge Fehler. Deshalb gibt es nur den unsync. Start und Neu+Start. Aber das stand ja auch einmal irgendwo, dass man bei Win 10 Neu+Start machen soll.

Ich habe übrigens den Client gerade noch einmal partitioniert, formatiert und ausgerollt und wieder sind diese BIOS Einträge auch mit meinen Tippfehlern “Windows Bot Manager” im linbo log zu sehen. Ist das im Image enthalten oder hängt das irgendwo im BIOS und er zeigt es nur nicht an?

ich kann auch bestätigen, dass Neu+Sync oft viele Probleme löst.
Das UEFI bei Dell ist mir auch ein großes Rätsel und ich bin auch regelmäßig wegen der Starteinträge verwirrt.
Leider kann ich bezüglich den linbo-Einträgen nicht viel sagen, aber da gibts hier sicher Experten - sorry.
