# Nextcloud Wartung: Datenbank, ehemalige User

Servus,

die Probleme mit Usern, die nicht mehr in LDAP sind, aber nicht aus NC/OC verschwinden, kennen wir a schon [Own-/Nextcloud Userpflege: automatisch funktioniert nicht -\> selfmade](https://ask.linuxmuster.net/t/own-nextcloud-userpflege-automatisch-funktioniert-nicht-selfmade/754?source_topic_id=1428)  
Obwohl das nur zwischen NC 12 und 13 passierte, sind Reste dieser User weiterhin in meiner Datenbank zu finden.  
Ich habe da keine Lösung, als die Nextcloud neu aufzusetzen. Für ein Säubern hab ich keine Lösungen gefunden (im Netz gibt es eine für User die noch in der Tabelle oc\_preferences sind, aber bei mir tauchen manche user dort nicht mehr auf, dafür in anderen Tabellen ), daher werde ich sowieso neu anfangen müssen. (Thread folgt, sofern ich erfolgreich bin und von Kollegen nicht gesteinigt wurde)

zweites Problem: Meine Datenbank wächst mit der Zeit einfach an. Hm, kein Problem? Performance? Jedenfalls, scheint es mir ziemlich sinnlos, dass

```auto
du -sch /var/lib/mysql/owncloud/* | sort -h
15M oc_cards.ibd
23M oc_addressbookchanges.ibd
89M oc_filecache.ibd
813M oc_activity.ibd
1,1G total
```

activity 800 MB verbrät. Auch das werde ich ignorieren, weil ich neu anfange, aber den einen oder anderen wird das auch in den Hintern treten, wenn er seine Root-Partition nicht groß genug gewählt hat.  
Wer NC containerisiert hat, den trifft es dann im MYSQL-Container irgendwann.  
Lösungen hab ich dazu auch nicht im Web gefunden.

Hallo Tobias,

Ich habe mal geschaut, bei mir ist die oc\_activity mit 161M auch mit abstand die größte Datei.  
Die Frage ist, was dort gespeichert wird…

Woher weißt du, das User-Reste in Deiner Datenbank sind, wo tauchen die auf? Da meine NC auch mal eine OC war und seit Version 8 immer geupdatet wurde, habe ich da auch sorgen, dass evtl. was nicht glatt lief…

hier steht (glaube ich) wie man die activity leeren kann:

keine Ahnung, wie man in den Datenbanken nachguckt, aber vll. wird das bei uns auch nicht „geleert“…

Ich nehme mal  
‚activity\_expire\_days‘ =\> 90,  
(hab ich von hier: [Configuring the Activity App — Nextcloud 12 Server Administration Manual 12 documentation](https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/12/admin_manual/configuration_server/activity_configuration.html))  
in meine config.php rein. Mal sehen, ob sich was tut.
